Sure, it was a gutsy move for the band to go on such an extreme ambient/electronic direction, especially at the time when their label was busy ensuring britpop exploded onto the mainstream but hindsight has shown, there were bands that had already plowed this path and done so in a more melodically fulfilling /5(32).
